Why Cranial Technique & Yin Yoga
A beautiful restorative blend of two complementary practices, Yin Yoga and Sacro Occipital Cranial Techniques with the intention to unravel fascial tension in the head, spine and body.
Focused on using gentle Cranial techniques, Yin-based movement and breath to calm the central nervous system, boosting the immune system, and releasing the body's habitual tension patterns, restoring the body at a cellular level. Sacro Occipital Cranial Technique blended with Yin Yoga is powerful as it enhances the movement of cerebral spinal fluid, which in turn improves the nutrition of the central nervous system - the brain and the spinal cord.

What is YIN :
Yin yoga poses compress and open tissues; this stimulates the flow of chi/energy, which can help with healing, while at the same time passively stretching fascia & ligaments to help flexibility, movement & posture. These slow passive poses bring an emphasis on stillness and stability.

What is CT :
Cranial Technique is a gentle hands-on practice that uses light touch to examine membranes, cranial sutures & movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). By relieving tension in these tissues that hold and regulate the function of the central nervous system, it promotes a feeling of well-being and improves focus and cognitive function by shifting toxins, enhancing the lymphatics, and encouraging essential nutrients to flow into the nervous system.
Yin & Cranial technique together, via specific movements, guide balance and restore function within the body, the intention of the practice is to reduce stress, pain, and aberrant responses in the body, boost energy, health and immunity, and restore the biomechanical function of our body.
